TaxAssist Accountant Wins Prestigious Award

1st July 2009

TaxAssist Accountant, Bruce Burrowes, has won the Kingston Business Champions Award for ‘Best New Business’ at the ceremony held at The Rose Theatre on 18th May 2009.

The award, presented by Malcolm Brabon, is in recognition of Bruce Burrowes’ outstanding achievement since joining the UK’s leading tax & accountancy specialists for small businesses. On collecting the award, Bruce comments, "To be recognised for my achievements in this way is a great honour. I’ve worked very hard to establish a sound reputation among our small business clients."

The Kingston Business Champions Awards were introduced by Kingston Chamber of Commerce and The Royal Borough of Kingston in 2007 to promote and celebrate the business strength in the area and the support for various worthwhile causes that businesses offer to the community.

Bruce Burrowes, previously a Finance Director, has over 20 years accountancy experience. Now running a TaxAssist Accountants franchise, Bruce says he has really found his forté, working closely with many local businesses in Kingston. "After 20 years working in large international organisations, taking the TaxAssist Accountants franchise has created the most rewarding opportunity for me to use all that experience to serve the needs of small business."
